Maribel: What's in a name ???
Once we decided to buy a yacht, we started thinking about names - even before we had chosen the yacht.
Louise liked the name "Maribel", and even though we considered many other names, "Maribel" remained at the top of our list.
"Maribel" is a blend of Mary (Latin) "star of the sea" and Belle (French) "beautiful", and just perfect for our Sun Odyssey 349.
After all, she is a beautiful looking French boat that bears the Jeanneau "star of the sea" logo.
So ... from the start it was our destiny to own Maribel, a beautiful
Sun Odyssey 349.
